November and December are extremely dark months in Sweden. In the northern parts the sun sets as early as 2 in the afternoon and around 4 in the rest of the country.
This is one of the reasons I enjoy Advent and Lucia as much as I do. It’s a celebration of light and hope and a time to fill your home with decorations, candles and treats. By the first of December my house is fully decorated and right after Lucia (December 13) we decorate our Christmas tree.
There is quite a few Swedish designers and decorations that I really like and that I wish to show you. Being a collector of angels (mainly white) I will of course buy one or two new ones this year, as I do every year. I will show you my favourite ones!
